My workshops are tailored to let you gain knowledge of ink & watercolour blending illustration & fine art - Tap into your artistic vision, self expression, and perhaps tell a story with the medium. Alongside the fun element, there is an opportunity to gain exploration, and have a sense of own agency & control - Emphasizing new skills in combining ink linework with watercolour washes, a sought-after technique.​

All workshops are set up ready to use, with experimental pieces and a final piece to take home.

Course Lessons Summary:

Mark making skills and finding a comfortable use of ink whilst experimenting with line and shape.

Watercolour wet on wet/dry experiments then to combine a small spot illustration ink drawn structure with basic watercolour layers and techniques.

Using all of the techniques, and from gained confidence, create an A3 full bleed ink/painting from a selected template challenge piece of art to work from.

Further final effects on the final piece with reflection, and a short session of self expression using ink/water & brush ( if there's time!)

Traditional Hand-Drawn Focus: Hand-drawn scenes of known places or delve into imagination, fantasy or world-building through a shared vision.

Customized instruction based on students skill levels and goals, whether they are beginners or advanced artists.

Structured techniques, from line drawing to watercolor layering and composition - with process pieces shown from my own portfolios, to show what can be done with the medium - what can be achieved.
